Ashdown Light Store is part of Ashdown Home Store Ltd.

The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown at time of order. All goods are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable after your order has been placed, we will inform you immediately and offer you an alternative or issue a refund or credit for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.

Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on this website are accurate at the time you place your order. Should there be an error, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we do not receive any correspondence within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically a refund issued.


Payment for the goods and delivery charges can be made by any method shown on the payment pages. Alternatively, we can accept payment over the phone. Goods are the property of Ashdown Home Store Ltd until full cleared payment has been received including any delivery charges. Please note their may be additional delivery charges for international orders. Goods will not be dispatched until delivery charges are paid. There will be no dispatch of goods until cleared funds are received.


Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been paid for. However, we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.

You will receive an email on purchase to confirm your order number, items ordered, your delivery address and the total price. Please check this carefully and notify us if you spot any discrepancies in the order.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

Ashdown Home Store aims to provide the highest level of service to its customers. If you are not entirely happy with the quality of your purchase, or you believe the product to be faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. If the product is faulty or damaged we will replace the item and offer you a refund on any postage costs you may incur (see below). Please note, we will only send out a replacement item on receipt of the faulty/damaged item. A copy of your order must be included with all returns.
Returns should be sent in original packaging and via Royal Mail 1st Class Small Packet (or Royal Mail 1st Class Small Packet Recorded Delivery if high value) - please note we do not refund postage for Special Delivery. All returns must be pre-arranged with Ashdown Home Store to qualify for postage refund.
Returning Unwanted Goods

We value our customers greatly and aim to provide the highest possible level of service. If you purchase an item and decide you don’t like it or it doesn’t fit your requirements we will offer a 30 day full refund period. Please note, the refund will match the price you originally paid and will not cover any postage fees incurred whilst returning the item. A copy of your order must be included with all returns.
Unwanted items should be returned in an unused condition and in its original packaging - if it is not in a re-sellable condition a refund cannot be offered. Please send all returns via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.


All goods are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Should the goods supplied to you develop a defect while under warranty or you have any other complaint, you should notify us in writing as soon as possible. Initially you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost; your return will be inspected upon delivery and providing the goods have been returned as required and do prove to be faulty you will be issued with a replacement product and a refund for the carriage costs incurred. The goods must be returned to the address shown below. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged further in the meantime or in transit.

Our rights

Ashdown Home Store Ltd reserves the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

Ashdown Home Store Ltd's total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, and restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods.

Data Protection & Privacy

We will not share your information with anyone and will only contact you in the future if you so request.

Applicable Law

These terms of sale and the supply of the goods will be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
