Delivery & Returns
We are pleased to offer free delivery on all orders within the UK for orders over £10 (inc vat). Orders under £10 are subject to a £2.50 postage charge. Delivery prices are automatically calculated for European and Worldwide destinations. All orders dispatched within 1-3 working days unless stated as a lead time product. Once you place your order with us you will receive an order confirmation via email. Please check this carefully. We will then send you an email on the day of dispatch notifying you that your order is on it's way to you. Delivery addresses can be different to invoice addresses - this can be selected during the checkout procedure.
Delivery Terms & Conditions.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been paid for. However, Ashdown Light Store will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.
You will get an email on purchase to confirm your order number, items ordered, your delivery address and the total price. Please check this carefully and notify us if you spot any discrepancies in the order.
We provide a full manufacturers warranty on all products we supply. The length of warranty differs depending on the brand and will be explained within the product listing. The receipt we send you with your purchase acts as your warranty.
Returning Unwanted Goods
We value our customers greatly and aim to provide the highest possible level of service. If you purchase an item and decide you don’t like it or it doesn’t fit your requirements we will offer a 30 day full refund period with the exception of cut to length rope lights, engraved items and Methven Deva spare parts which are all non-returnable. Please note, the refund will match the price you originally paid and will not cover any postage fees incurred whilst returning the item. Any original postage cost paid will not be refunded. A copy of your order must be included with all returns.
Unwanted items should be returned in an unused condition and in its original packaging - if it is not in a re-sellable condition a refund cannot be offered. Please send all returns via a tracked or recorded delivery.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
We aim to provide the highest level of service to our customers. If you are not entirely happy with the quality of your purchase, or you believe the product to be faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. If an item is visibly damaged we will require a photo of the damage. If there is a fault with the item we will require an explanation.
Please note we do not refund other forms of postage unless previously agreed.
International shipping charges are worked out by weight and automatically calculated. Simply add your items to the shopping cart and select your country during checkout for the delivery price to be displayed. VAT will be removed for all destinations outside of the UK. Please note you will be liable to pay customs import tax, you will be contacted by the courier to pay this if applicable.
