Yes, connections on the back of the switch have L1, L2 and COM (for 1 and 2 way switching).
How do you remove the facial covers?
Simply insert a flat head screwdriver into the aperture on the bottom underside of the switch and gently twist to unclip the plate.
What is the purpose of changing the covers?
This gives you the option to replace the covers in the case of damage, or to refresh your room with a completely new finish without having to remove the complete switch or socket.
